At least 12 characters. No requirement about capitals or symbols: length is what defeats guessing. It is checked against known breach data before you submit, and only the first five characters of its hash leave this browser.

Creating an account dials nobody. A new account starts in onboarding, and Dialessa places no call until onboarding is finished and the email address is confirmed.
